01 - 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
02 - 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
03 - 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/4 cup sour cream
05 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
06 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 clove garlic, minced
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
10 - Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

11 - 8 slices sourdough bread
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
13 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
14 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
02 - Fold chopped spinach and artichoke hearts gently into the cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
03 - Arrange sourdough slices; spread a generous layer of the spinach artichoke mixture onto 4 slices. Sprinkle each with additional mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
04 - Top with remaining sourdough slices to close each sandwich.
05 - Evenly spread softened butter on the outside surfaces of each assembled sandwich.
06 - Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing lightly, until golden brown and cheese is melted inside.
07 - Remove sandwiches from heat, allow to rest for 1 to 2 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
