01 - 8 large sheets roasted nori
→ Seasoning
02 - 2 tbsp sesame oil
03 - 1 tbsp tamari or gluten-free soy sauce
04 - 1 tsp maple syrup
05 - ½ tsp sea salt
06 - ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
07 - 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
→ Optional Garnishes
08 - 1 tbsp crushed wasabi peas
09 - 1 tbsp finely chopped green onion
# How to Make It:
01 - Preheat oven to 285°F (140°C) and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Combine sesame oil, tamari, maple syrup, sea salt, and chili flakes in a small bowl.
03 - Place one nori sheet shiny side down on parchment paper and brush lightly with seasoning mixture.
04 - Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the seasoned nori sheet, then layer with another nori sheet and brush again. Repeat layering and seasoning until all sheets are used, finishing with a seasoned top layer.
05 - Using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors, cut the layered nori sheets into bite-sized strips or squares.
06 - Spread the cut pieces evenly on the prepared baking tray.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, monitoring closely to prevent burning.
08 - Remove from oven and allow to cool; the snacks will crisp as they cool. Garnish with crushed wasabi peas and chopped green onion if desired, then serve or store in an airtight container.
