# What You'll Need:

→ Cream Layer

01 - 8.8 oz mascarpone cheese
02 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

→ Coffee Mixture

05 - 1/2 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
06 - 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)

→ Assembly

07 - 12-14 ladyfinger biscuits, cut to fit shot glasses
08 - Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
09 - Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Whisk mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
02 - In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until medium peaks form.
03 - Fold the whipped cream gently into the mascarpone mixture until homogenous.
04 - Combine espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
05 - Briefly dip each ladyfinger piece into the coffee mixture without soaking.
06 - Place a dipped ladyfinger at the bottom of each shot glass.
07 - Spoon or pipe a layer of mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
08 - Add another dipped ladyfinger layer followed by mascarpone cream.
09 - Smooth the surface and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
10 - Dust with cocoa powder and optionally garnish with dark chocolate shavings before serving.
