# What You'll Need:

01 - 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 0.5 lbs ground pork (optional)
03 - 1 cup breadcrumbs
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 0.5 cup whole milk
08 - 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
09 - 2 tbsp ketchup
10 - 1.5 tsp salt

12 - 1 tsp dried thyme

→ Glaze

13 - 0.5 cup ketchup
14 - 2 tbsp brown sugar
15 - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
16 - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

→ Mashed Potatoes

17 - 2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
18 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter
19 - 0.5 cup whole milk, warmed
20 - 0.25 cup heavy cream (optional)
21 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Set oven to 375°F and prepare a loaf pan or baking sheet with parchment paper or light grease.
02 - In a large bowl, gently mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and thyme until just combined.
03 - Shape the mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf and place on the prepared baking surface.
04 - Whisk ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl until smooth.
05 - Spread half the glaze evenly over the meatloaf and bake for 40 minutes.
06 - Remove meatloaf, spread remaining glaze, and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
07 - Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
08 - Return potatoes to pot and mash with butter, warmed milk, and heavy cream if using. Season with salt and pepper.
09 - Allow meatloaf to rest 10 minutes before slicing and serve alongside mashed potatoes.
