Strawberry PB&J Overnight Oats (Print Version)

Creamy oats with sweet strawberry jam, peanut butter, and crunchy peanuts for a nutritious start.

# What You'll Need:

→ Oats Base

01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk, dairy or non-dairy
03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
04 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
05 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

→ PB&J Layer

06 - 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
07 - 2 tablespoons strawberry jam

→ Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
09 - 2 tablespoons roasted unsalted peanuts, roughly chopped

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl or jar, combine oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and honey. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
02 - Divide half of the oat mixture between two jars or containers.
03 - Top each portion with 1 tablespoon peanut butter and 1 tablespoon strawberry jam.
04 - Layer the remaining oat mixture on top of the peanut butter and jam.
05 - Cover and refrigerate overnight for at least 6 hours or until flavors meld and oats soften.
06 - Stir gently in the morning and top with fresh strawberries and chopped peanuts before serving. Add extra milk if a looser consistency is preferred.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • You prep it once and breakfast is ready whenever you are, no thinking required in the morning.
  • The peanut butter and jam layer stays distinct and flavorful instead of getting lost in the oats.
  • It's loaded with protein from the yogurt and peanuts, so you actually feel satisfied until lunch.
02 -
  • Don't skip the layering step thinking you can just mix everything together—the peanut butter and jam stay more distinct and flavorful when they have their own space.
  • If your overnight oats taste somehow separated or unpleasant by morning, it usually means the milk-to-oats ratio was off, so add liquid until it feels right.
03 -
  • Use Greek yogurt that's thick and creamy, not the whipped kind, so your overnight oats actually develop the right texture and don't turn watery.
  • A tiny pinch of sea salt mixed into the peanut butter layer deepens all the flavors and makes everything taste intentional rather than just sweet.
